Boneless Pork Chop Recipes Question And Answer
Help. I need a healthy recipe for pork chops. Maybe a rub or marinade. Thanks?
I have two center cut boneless chops to make for dinner. Interesting things I have on hand include fresh parsley, dill and chives, an apple, a mango, sweet potatoes, garlic, and basically a fully stocked pantry of staples. Thanks for ideas.

cook them in a pan with water, once there all the way cooked, add a cup or 2 of lemon juice(to taste) salt and pepper to taste and serve over white rice, its delicious and extremely healthy
Marinate them in italian dressing and bake...good stuff!
Bread them with a mixture of garlic and Parmesan cheese. Then grill. Sooo good.
I've put porkchops in a ziploc bag with apple juice in the fridge. It's simple and tastes sweet.
Pork is always good with apples! Also, you could mash up the potatoes and roast the garlic and throw them together. As far as seasoning the pork in a healthy manner... fresh herbs and little or no salt for starters. And then you could have the mango for desert!
Porco de Vinha de Alhos - Portuguese Pork Chops
Rub pork chops well with ground cumin (crush seeds in a mortar and pestle for best flavor).
Place pork chops into a glass, ceramic or stainless steel ovenproof container. Combine 1/4 cup white sugar, 1 pint cider vinegar and two tablespoons salt.
To this mixture, add 1/2 cup (4 ounces) whole mixed pickling spices and one quart wine vinegar. Peel, smash and mince 4 cloves garlic; add to marinade. Cover tightly and place in refrigerator to marinate for 2 days. Turn pork chops to coat evenly each day.
Bake in a preheated 350'f oven for 40-45 minutes or until done.
Note: If you won't be cooking these in the oven (for example, you might want to grill them outside instead) save the dish and use a Ziploc bag to marinate the chops.
rinse the chops, dip in egg (mixed in a bowl) then dip in italian seasoned bread crumbs, bake in oven 350 for 35-45 min. use your apple, mango etc and make a salsa for serving with your chops, also steamed rice garnised with parsely and chives. yum
simple spices add 0 calories to any meal remember that so if it were me i would use my house seasoning (which came from paula dean) i make it in large amounts it includes
1 cup kosher salt
1/4 cup fresh ground black pepper
1/4 cup garlic powder
enjoy :)
cut the pork chops in the center and make a pocket. Stuff them with cut apple, dill and chives sprinkle with seasoning. Put in baking dish and bake at 350 until they are 165 degrees. Guess about 25 minutes but depends on how big your chops are. you can add cheese and pour some sauce ( even apple juice) or gravy over before you bake or even a cream of celery or mushroom
Basted them with apple sauce, dice up the apples and mangoes and toss those in, add a little salt, some garlic, a 1/2 teaspoon of sage, a small dash of pepper and let simmer - pull out the chops, stir the cooked fruit and serve on top as a chutney.
Paula Dean has a great recipe that you do on the grill.
Take 2 sheets of Foil, place one chop in the center.
On top of chop put a slice of Pineapple, Green Pepper, and Red Onion. Get your favorite Teriyaki sauce, add a Tbsp with a Tbsp of the Pineapple juice, add a little black pepper for flavor. Fold the Foil to make a packet. Put on grill for 5 minutes, or until done. Really good and good for you!!
Broil them after seasoning with salt, pepper, and thyme or sage. Serve with warm apple rings, sprinkled with cinnamon. :)
This entire dinner in 10 minutes prep and 15-25 minutes cook. Get a jump start on the sweet potatoes with a 6 minute nuke after a quick 'fork stab' to each. Place in hot grill.
Chop apple and mango into cubes. In medium saute pan at medium high heat add two pads of butter, mango and apples. saute for a few minutes and add 1 cup chicken broth. Continue cooking until apples are soft. Add 2 tablespoons of Balsamic vinegar. 2 tbsp of corn starch and cold water in a glass; stir and add to hot saute pan, stirring constantly.Reduce heat.
I would grill the chops, as hot as your grill will go. Three minutes at '10 oclock' and rotate to a hot spot elsewhere on the grill to '2 oclock' for three more minutes. Flip to a different spot for three and rotate a final time for three minutes. This will give you that great looking 'cross grilled' marks. Some fresh ground pepper and fresh parsley/ dill to decorate.
Serve on platter with a ladle of sauce on top of chops.
WAY healthy and soo savory.
Jerk Pork Chops
1/3 cup vegetable oil
1/3 cup distilled white vinegar
4 green onions, chopped
2 cloves garlic, chopped
1 Scotch bonnet chili, seeded and minced
3 bay leaves
3 peppercorns
1 tablespoon dried ground cinnamon
1 tablespoon ground allspice
1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
½ teaspoon ground nutmeg
3 pounds pork chops, about 1 inch thick
Combine the oil and vinegar in a small bowl. Stir in the green onions, garlic, chili, bay leaves, peppercorns, cinnamon, allspice, pepper, and nutmeg. Trim any excess fat from the pork chops. Place the pork chops in a re-sealable plastic bag. Pour the spice mixture over them, coating each chop well. Place the bag of pork chops in a baking pan and place the chops in the refrigerator to marinate overnight.Allow the chops to come to room temperature before grilling. Heat the grill until the coals are somewhat white with ash; the flame should be low. Place the chops on the grill and cover with the lid. Grill for 5 to 10 minutes per side, until the chops are no longer pink in the center.
